The Cenit Group is one of the largest contracted training departments for Contracted Training to Education and Training Boards (ETB’s) in Ireland. 

ETB Programmes

The Cenit Group predominantly work in the domains of Computing, Manufacturing, Office Skills, Finance, Project Management, Management Skills, Accounting, Healthcare, Health and Safety, Life Skills, Networks & Hardware, Software Development & Programming, Web Design, Entrepreneurial Skills and Sales. 

Certification and Qualifications

Certification ranges from QQI Levels 3-6 & City and Guilds, along with and Professional Qualifications such as CompTIA, LIA, ATI among others. The Examination and Curriculum Development Unit within the Contracted Training Department, develops and submits assessments for validation at QQI Levels 3 to 6, along with offering academic support and advice to our 70+ tutoring staff.   

The Cenit Group is always pioneering new programmes, supported by the ETB. Recently pioneering:

Big Data

Big data describes the large volume of data – both structured and unstructured that business manage.

This 12 month programme provides a hands on technical IT programme on how to analysed and manipulate large volumes of data for insights that lead to better decisions and strategic business moves for managers. This programme is supported by Longford Westmeath ETB and Kildare Wicklow ETB in conjunction with professional qualifications ensures that students kick start their IT career in a new and emerging area.


The Cenit Group, in conjunction with Kildare Wicklow ETB and FIT, successfully deliver a QQI Level 6 Major Award in Maintenance Technician.

This programme is run in conjunction with the Intel Corporation in Leixslip, Co. Kildare.


The Cenit Group, in conjunction with Athlone Training Centre and the professional accountancy body CPA Ireland, developed a yearlong accountancy programme with classroom and practical experience to certify students with a Formation 1 Level qualification.

This programme has subsequently been delivered in other ETB’s around Ireland.
